Atelier d'Excellence — Teremer

The Teremer collection is a collection of leather-covered furniture created especially for the Atelier d'Excellence showroom in New York. It showcases the expertise of French leather craftsmanship.
The name “Teremer” is derived from the materials used in the collection. “Terre” represents the skins of the earth, such as calfskin and goatskin parchment, while ‘Mer’ signifies the skins of the ocean, such as shagreen.
The central coffee table is adorned with a combination of parchment, shagreen and calfskin, highlighting different textures and colors. On the other hand, the pivoting-door storage unit inspired by Eileen Gray and Pierre Chareau is covered in textured and tinted calfskin. The cabinet's interior is entirely sheathed in suede, adding a soft, silky touch. The ensemble is enhanced by a round medallion in painted Cordoba leather and a black lacquered frame.
