Townhouse Ranelagh — Paris 16ème
Nestled along a gated, tree-lined street, a narrow 19th-century brick townhouse stands watch over a private square in the heart of Paris. Its timeless exterior, carefully preserved, offers a moment of serenity amidst the city's vibrant pace. The new owners, while intent on maintaining the charm of the facade facing the square and the elegant central staircase, envisioned an interior that would better suit contemporary living.
At the heart of their vision was the idea of connection: creating spaces where the family could gather effortlessly and enhancing visual linkages between the house’s key areas. The main concept established a dialogue between the living room, which offers views of the tranquil square, and the dining room and kitchen, with their new extension opening toward the garden. This layout brings a harmonious flow to the home, fostering both a sense of togetherness and a continuous connection between the indoors and outdoors.
The project redefines the townhouse, balancing the preservation of its historical essence with the creation of new, inviting spaces for modern family life.
