Townhouse — Neuilly-sur-Seine

All the interior spaces of this private mansion have been renovated to turn it into a family home, while showcasing the owner’s passion for Japanese art, sense of aesthetics and ultimate refinement.
The works are presented in a sober and silent setting which gives the collection of objects and art from different eras and styles the necessary space to exist. The contemporary furniture, designed to measure and produced by Philippe Hurel reinforces and complements the Japanese objects to create a relaxing living space.
Always illustrating project narrative, a console-mirror was created in the entrance, with a play of materials between tinted mirrors and a Tangleef finish (seaweed paste). The four mirrors represent the 4 members of the family, and a smaller white one at the top right for their adored cat.
