Mansion — Neuilly-sur-Seine

In a 1930’s mansion attributed to the architect Auguste Perret, a contemporary interior design is presented. Designed as a series of cinematic “still frames”, the architectural promenade invites contemplation and creates a serene atmosphere.
It begins with a staircase hall, where the handrail, a lightened steel blade draws a fluid connection between the spaces. The next frame highlights the living lounge, framed by a bookshelf and a fireplace that is both sleek and majestic.
The dining room and kitchen take part in the promenade in a smooth manner, playing with views and natural light to form a harmonious ensemble with the other volumes. A staircase, inspired by the iconic staircase of Eileen Gray’s renowned E-1027 Villa, continues the journey to the main suite, which opens onto a marble-clad bathroom bathed in natural light.
Throughout the promenade, the concept of a sequence of interdependent still frames allows for the expression of different personalities and levels of intimacy within a harmonious place.
