Hôtel de Montesquieu — Paris 8ème
Taking its inspiration from the writings of Montesquieu's two travelers in his novel Les Lettres Persanes, the hotel - with its 18 suites and junior suites - is conceived as an architectural cabinet of curiosities drawing on Middle Eastern and Asian cultures, at the crossroads of the Silk Route.
By repositioning certain objects that bear witness to another way of life, and assembling chromatic palettes inspired by the sublime Persian garden of Ispahan to the interiors of the Forbidden City in Beijing, influences merge to better reflect the eclecticism of our contemporary spirit.
