AD Intérieurs, Le Salon de Compagnie — Paris 5ème
A living room steeped in history, shaped by the desires, experiences, encounters and intimate memories of the family who lives in this private mansion. Intimate and convivial, it's a precious setting in which to welcome friends, play music, read, play games, savor gastronomic delights or simply relax.
The spirit of the 18th century Salons de Compagnie is boldly revisited: by taking up the traditional codes of this emblematic room in a private mansion of the period, the salon is enriched by an unconventional contemporary composition, full of modernity.
True to tradition, one wall of the salon is adorned with portraits of men from the Barnes family. These works, by the talented African American artist Kenturah Davis, instill a vibrant depth and a unique dialogue between family heritage and contemporary artistic expression.
