High Crossing
View technical sheet

Inspired by Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie Woogie, and the quiet authority of antique Chinese standing cabinets, High Crossing is a free-standing, double-sided shelf unit that transcends function to become a spatial arranger.
Open on both faces, it divides space while preserving flow and sightlines. Inside, a rhythm of offset shelves and vertical dividers in smooth stained oak sets a quiet cadence. A double-sided floating antique mirror punctuates the piece, hinting that its purpose extends beyond the conservation of books.
Its structure—bold yet refined—is outlined with an inset of polished brass, bringing warmth and graphic clarity. Raised delicately on four inverted “boots,” the piece levitates just above the ground, referencing the lightness of mid-century modernism.
